Pizza Monkey Bread

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans (16 oz each) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup chopped pepperoni
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce (plus extra for dipping)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons dried Italian herbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    • Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare Dough:
    • Open the cans of biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into quarters.
  3. Mix Ingredients:
    • In a large bowl, combine the quartered biscuit pieces, shredded mozzarella, chopped pepperoni, and grated Parmesan cheese.
  4. Season and Coat:
    • In a small bowl, blend the melted butter with dried Italian herbs, garlic powder, and onion powder. Pour this mixture over the biscuit pieces and toss to coat thoroughly.
  5. Assemble the Bread:
    • Grease a bundt pan with non-stick spray or butter. Layer the coated biscuit pieces into the pan, pressing them down gently to pack them in.
  6. Bake:
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the monkey bread is golden brown and fully cooked.
  7. Cool and Serve:
    • Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a serving plate. Serve warm with additional pizza sauce for dipping.
